Training
I am a university trained ACC and NCS Registered Counsellor.
My initial therapeutic training was in Person-Centred Counselling, taught at Network Counselling in Bristol.
I studied Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy (CBT) at the University of South Wales on their post-graduate training course.
I completed my training as a Relationship Counsellor with Relate, a national organisation providing relationship therapy.
I draw on these different training approaches to provide the right form of therapy for each individual, rather than assuming that one counselling method will work for all.
I have completed training as a Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) with Evergreen Certifications, based in the USA.
My Diploma in Online Counselling has equipped me to provide therapy via Email and Instant Messaging (Web chat), for clients who would prefer this counselling approach as an alternative to my Face-to-Face, Phone or Webcam service.
I am a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and have completed coaching courses in Stress Management and Health and Wellbeing Coaching at the London based Centre for Coaching.
